Gamigin is a fallen angel and marquis of hell who initially takes the form of a small horse or donkey before transforming into a hoarse-voiced human. He teaches liberal arts, discovery of secrets, correction of mistakes, and gives accounts of souls that died in sin.[1] Gamigin can force the souls of those in Purgatory (or Cartagra, meaning "affliction of souls", an alternate term introduced in The Discoverie of Witchcraft) into incorporeal bodies to answer questions.[2][3][4][5]
Samigina is a spirit of necromantic evocation. He allows communication with the shades of the dead, specifically on dreaming levels, as well as to exorcise them. One may also witness "faces" in a black mirror while communicating with him. It's recommended to use EVP to record Samigina or other shades in the place of summoning.[6]
Gamigin begets the social skills necessary to deceive and mislead other people, including perception of their desires. Gamigin helps attenuate instinct and magical memory. He is powerful in draconic magic, shapeshifting, business, and the art of negotiation, and is very helpful in kundalini work. He can teach how to see through legalease. [7]
Gamigin is opposed by the Shemhamphorasch angel Ieuiah.[8]
