Based on the interactions I've had on this wiki leading up to the present, it seems to me that a rich astral subspace is liable to co-locate itself on top of this wiki. Since that's already going to happen anyway, this place needs a local bond to formalize the ritual and protect its users from an inter-dimensional energetic leak.

The astral plane is a plane of existence postulated by many philosophies, religions, and other systems of thought. It is the world of the planetary spheres, crossed by the soul in its astral body on the way to being born and after death, and is generally said to be populated by angels, spirits or other immaterial beings.
The Veil
Alluded to by many internet occultists, The Veil is a purported barrier said to separate the physical plane from the astral. It is said to keep spiritual entities and energies from affecting the physical too heavily, preventing magic from being easy enough to show to someone who does not already "have an open mind." Despite the widespread nature of this belief, the mechanism by which having an open mind locally weakens the veil is the subject of considerable scrutiny.
