The swastika has had thousands of years being a solar symbol of protection, used by most of the Indo-European population.

Lately the swastika is better know as the cross used by Nazis in the second world war. Their version of the swastika is a deformed one, with the hooks of the cross going in the opposite direction, against the sun. The Nazi version of the symbol is also tilted on its side.

These days people don't use the swastika anymore, because of the strong negative feelings around it. However the true nature of the swastika is not a bad one, it represents the cycle of the sun, it is a solar symbol. This article is a stub. You can help by expanding it
