Jivatman is a term used in Indian mysticism (Yoga or Vedanta).

One definition is that Jivatman is the divine soul or the spiritual true self. In this sense, Jivatman is the bridge between the ego and the Atman, thus it is both part of the microcosm and the macrocosm.

Another definition is that Jivatman is the individual soul and part of the microcosm.
