'''John Dee''' was a well known Elizabethan [[magus]] who transcribed visions of [[Angel|angels]] received by his accomplice [[Edward Kelley]]. He's best known for founding [[Enochian]], and is credited with destroying the majority Spanish Armada by storm, and depicted as Prospero by Shakespeare.

Dee used an [[obsidian]] [[shew stone]] which came from the Aztecs/Mayans and rests in the British Museum, along with his [[Conjuration|conjuring]] table which contains the [[Enochian]] Alphabet. He was unable to [[scry]] himself, which is why he had a long partnership with Kelly. Kelly did the scrying and Dee noted and interpreted the results.

John Dee, also a contemporary of Sir [[Francis Bacon]], was credited with scripting the [[Monad Hieroglyph]], or MONAS HIEROGLYPHICA, representing all the knowledge in the Universe.
