Redirect

Hi again! :) To use the REDIRECT feature do this:

  • Go to Henry Cornelius Agrippa, the page you want to become a redirect to another page.
  • Type in this: #REDIRECT [[Cornelius Agrippa]]
  • The above statement must be in the first line of the redirect page.
  • To check whether your redirect works, exit from the redirect page (i.e. visit some other page, for example the main page) and go back again to the redirect page (without using the Back button in your browser). If the redirect is correct, you will see the Cornelious Agrippa page with a note saying "redirected from...". To edit-change something in the redirect page, click the link after "from..." and edit it.
  • If you fail to create a redirect, don't worry. Just create the page you want to become a redirect and write See [[Cornelius Agrippa]]. Me or other people will see your newly created page and turn it into a proper redirect.
  • Please create as many redirect pages as you can. Redirects are good because they prevent duplicate articles and increase the chance of someone finding the information he/she needs. For example, even Agrippa could be a redirect to cornelious agrippa.

Please ask me any other questions you have about the site. Have fun! :) Magos 05:21, 21 Apr 2004 (BST)

Hi

Hi. I noticed you blanked your user page. The previous contents of your userpage are still available online via the page history. I don't know why you blanked your userpage but I hope it isn't because you leave the project. In any case, I just wanted to ask you whether you want me to delete your previous userpage contents (for example, if you have privacy concerns et cetera). Just reply to my talk page.
