Does it basically mean naked? Elseware 17:33, 4 Sep 2003 (BST)
Yeah, but it's not merely being naked in the general sense, hence my use of the wiccan term 'sky-clad' which implies, IMO, a connection to the elements. I guess the distinction is psychological: naked often implies for westerners feelings of vulnerability - being 'clothed in space' means that you don't need clothes as you are 'clothed' by the universe. I'm going to expand on it at a later point, as going naked was a central feature of Indian ascetic & tantric practice. The British tried to ban it, of course. Aog 17:08, 4 Sep 2003 (BST)
aha. The a bit like the difference between naked and nude? So it's like a ritual nudity rather than a lack of clothes. Elseware 17:33, 4 Sep 2003 (BST)
yeah, that's it. Aog 17:47, 4 Sep 2003 (BST)
