This is gonna take a while to fill in, but I'll be adding it in bits and pieces.

Random musings: any ideas on how to handle the belief/follower nomenclature? As in should I/we be putting more meat in the (for instance) Christianity section or the Christian section? Any ideas what things would go better in which?

Also not sure how much to say about Jesus in this part, or whether I should port it to his own entry. I'll see how much sense it makes if I take Jesus out of it. Hell, some would argue that's what's happened anyway to christianity... ;) -Person (too lazy to find the signature symbol)

Neato. Any chance of adding some links to Osiris as well? I don't remember the parallels that clearly. Oh, and Tiphareth relates to Jesus - as it's the sphere of the sacrificed/murdered/dead gods. Elseware 13:58, 19 Oct 2003 (BST)

I'll poke around again. If I recall correctly there's some parallels between baptism and Isis, and there's some hermetic stuff I've read before that has more theories on Jesus, but it's been a while so I'll have to track it down.
