Robert Anton Wilson is a leading figure in the New Age movement. He has written books, such as the Illuminatus Trillogy, Prometheus Rising and Cosmic Trigger.

His work can be considered a gateway, er, drug, which is likely to lead to such things as Timothy Leary, Aleister Crowley, and the like. One of his lesser known but most important works is Quantum Psychology, a book that is extremely englightening to anyone who wonders about the nature of people.

He is also a conspiracy theorist, in a very tongue-in-cheek manner, as in the aforementioned Cosmic Trigger trilogy and the Illuminatus Trilogy. Cosmic Trigger is more seriously written, while Illuminatus is mostly a fictional comedy about conspiracies. the Schrodinger's Cat trilogy is another of his fiction works, a comedy based on a quantum interpretation of reality. Fans of his works might also find Peter Carroll's work illuminating, if they wish to use some of the techniques in Prometheus Rising in other, more blatantly magical ways.
