Right-hand path (RHP) is the name given to a group of spiritual and mystical systems of study.

In a RHP system, the neophyte attempts to unite with the God, a god/goddess, the Cosmic, or another icon of spiritual superiority. Some systems emphasise that in order to do so, the neophyte must forget their own Ego.

Many times this union involves the practice of Love but this is not a characteristic of all RHP systems. RHP systems that focus very much on Love are Bhakti-based.

Some people dislike RHP systems because some "gurus" involved in RHP-like systems sometimes over-control their neophytes.

The Right-hand path is often depicted as the path of light.

In magic, the Right-hand path is depicted by a proper upward-looking Pentacle.

RHP people are often against violence and meat-eating.

Traditional RHP systems can be found in India and Europe.
