Mystics and Mysticists

The term mystic refers to persons who are adepts of Mysticism and have achieved higher spiritual consciousness.

The term mysticist refers to persons who are very knowledgeable and interested in Mysticism, but may not have achieved higher spiritual consciousness.

However, many people use these terms as synonyms.
