Jabniel (Hebrew: יִבְנֶהך, romanized: yav'ne'el, lit. 'god causes to be built') is one of the three princes (including Rabacyel and Dalquiel) under Saaquin who rule the third heaven. Each has his subordinate angel.[1][2] He appears in The Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses. (Davidson. G., 1994. A Dictionary of Angels. USA. The Free Press).[3]
Jabniel (as Jab) is used as a geomantic spirit in the Alphabet of the Genii to represent the letter for I/J. The sigil for this letter is mistakenly used in the Standard Set as the sigil for Jochmus.
