Hypersigil

A hypersigil is a story or other creative process which is intended to bring about change. The creative process begins by mirroring situations or people and then changes are introduced to the story. Sometimes it is also used to mean a creative work intended to change the reader. A classic example is the "Voodoo doll".

The origin of the phrase comes, I think, from The Invisibles, a comic by Grant Morrison.

See Narrative Magic for a detailed discussion of written works as hypersigils and related areas, such as roleplaying hypersigils.

NO WORKINGS ON THE MAIN WIKI PLEASE.

If you would like a wiki set up on the same server to experiment with a hypersigil, then ask Elseware nicely. It'll also consider other ideas, such as a tarot spread creator which can save your spread, and link to the wiki nodes for the cards...
