Christian

A Christian is someone who follows Christianity.

Due to the large number of sects in Christianity, people often refer their particular denomination (Catholic, Methodist, etc). Additionally, debates exist between denominations as to whether other denominations are in fact Christian. A prominent example would be conservative Protestant denominations, who deny that Catholics are Christians. Regardless, the general consensus among Christians is the following of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
