I'm not sure what the best way to do the runes is. Either names, or sinlge letters.

I'll probably do enochian while I'm at it.

I know sweet f-a about runes so I'll take any advice going.

I'll make the runes link to a node for each one, for individual commentaries etc.

Single letters have appeal because they're five billion ways to say each one. However, single letters aren't even single letters in some cases (th, ng). And there's longvowel/shortvowel crap I'd forgotten about. Eh. I'll just find the most common wordage for them.

I have forgotten most of what I know about runes. Which is why I started writing this part... making myself relearn it, and people who might know more than I can fix it.

Hmmm, well I would like to get the Icelandic Witchcraft in here somehow. It is an authentic tradition, very pragmatic and earthbound. Church officials in the 17th C. tried hard to convince people that the force deriving from these sigils was from the Devil, but the popular tradition (and modern magic would agree, I think) that the symbols derive their power simply from language (the runes) and from the desire of the worker. Some of these characters have something of the darker arts about them, it is true, but they are completely (and curiously) devoid of any Satanism and Demonology.
