Ferug is a supposed demon from the Standard Set who has no apparent origin. Its sigil seems to be a combination of two alchemical sigils for rust, 
and 
, both referenced in the Dictionary of Occult, Hermetic and Alchemical Sigils. The name is derived from Latin: ferrugo, lit. 'iron rust'.
