Quantum physics is the blending of science with spirituality and philosophy.

Quantum physics started out as the study of the particles that make up the atoms composing physical matter. As scientists studied the world at a subatomic level, they began to notice interesting phenomena, such as the splitting of light in a small chamber for no apparent reason, or particles being in superposition (multiple locations rather then one discrete position) and recorded as such until a human mind check on the "location" of the particle, at which point it "popped" into in a single location in local space-time.

These and other experiments began to culminate into reproducible experiments of spirituality, showing the possibility of things like alternate dimensions and the fundamental interconnectedness of all things.
