An oft' overlooked aspect of Discordianism:

Most folks see Order and Disorder as the Big Dichotomy. Discordianism teaches that (as usual) things are more complicated.

There is Creative Order just as there is Creative Disorder, and there is Destructive Order just as there is Destructive Disorder.

Discordians tend to prefer the Creative side, and as most of the world (due to the Curse of Greyface) has forgotten that Disorder can have a Creative side, most Discordians mainly stick to Creative Disorder.

Discordians aren't the only religion that believes that Chaos can be creative and good. Read Myth and Meaning in Early Taoism: The Theme of Chaos by N. J. Girardot if you are curious to see what another Chaos worshipping cult looked like. Or not.
