The Art of Memory, or ''ars memoria'', is a blanket term covering various mnemonic techniques, but in an esoteric sense it relates to the various systems developed in the [[Renaissance]] intended to catalog the [[Cosmos]] inside its practitioner's head as a way of creating a [[microcosm]] in the [[mind]].

The most famous developers of this technique were [[Giordano Bruno]] and [[Robert Fludd]].
