The moon is usually used in symbolism to represent the divine feminine, it also has connotations with the Taoist concept of Yin or passivity. Other magical connotations of the moon include:

  • Wilderness Magic
  • Menstural Blood
  • Lycanthropy
  • Unseelie Fae
  • Vampires

The spirit of the moon is often useful to summon when one needs to calm a situation down, or if there is too much energy in an event. The moon is a useful focus for any magic involving sleep or rest.
