Order of the Eastern Star

The Order of the Eastern Star is a Freemasonry-related organisation of men and women.

It should be noted that, though men are allowed in the order, the Eastern Star is mostly seen as the female organization of Freemasonry.

A Mason can be both, a Freemason and an Eastern Star, however, no women are allowed to participate in the Masonic Order, as it is strictly fraternal.
