Geomancy
Geomancy is a system of divination developed in Europe during the Middle Ages and Renaissance. It consists of randomly generating odd and even numbers to plot out a series of figures, then laying these figures out on a chart reminiscent of the house system used in Astrology. There are sixteen different geomantic figures:
Puer (Boy) | Amissio (Loss) | Albus (White) | Populus (People) |
Fortuna Major (Greater Fortune) | Conjunctio (Conjunction) | Puella (Girl) | Rubeus (Red) |
Aquisitio (Gain) | Carcer (Prison) | Tristitia (Sorrow) | Laetitia (Joy) |
Cauda Draconis (Tail of the Dragon) | Caput Draconis (Head of the Dragon) | Fortuna Minor (Lesser Fortune) | Via (Road) |
