Typical conceptions of truth see it as an objective set of facts that most people can agree upon. While it can be a bit slippery, most see it as something which can be approximated via consensus. Unfortunately, the paranormal doesn't have this consensus. People can't even decide if any phenomena even exists, much less how it works or what the details are. Thus, para.wiki has to take a somewhat unconventional interpretation of truth; effectively, everyone is assumed to be right.

Because there generally isn't any consensus on the correct interpretation of the paranormal, para.wiki articles shouldn't even try. Rather, they should both have the implied assumption that the subject actually exists (outside of a section on skepticism) and discuss details and theories as being possible interpretations rather than hard truths. Any interpretation is treated as valid as long as there's more support/belief in it than a small group, because to reject one on the basis of being "wrong" or "ridiculous" would open up a can of worms of edge cases in deciding whose theory is best and deserves mentioning.
