Wallet

The piece of paper is always kept behind the change pocket of my wallet as shown in the image. The compartment was originally sewn shut and simply separated the change pocket from the wallet body before wear and tear opened it up and I probably found it an ideal spot to keep the paper in.
The paper has been carefully folded three times. The slightly black colored patches on the edge and on the middle suggest that the paper is old and has been kept in the black wallet (previous picture) for a while. An estimated guess from me would be around 3-5 years. There is no text that can be seen from outside when it is folded.

Front

Firstly, note that the margins are missing from this paper if this were to be a standard notebook page. The margin lines along the back (next and previous image) suggest that the margins on the front side have been cut/torn off. The text here represents a monologue. The "[]" and struck-through phrase in the sixth line from the bottom are elements that might represent things that I'm not sure of.

Not everything is meant to last.

The sooner you know that, the sooner you can get over it. It must be painful to let go of a souvenir. An object that reminds us of the greatest battles once fought. You made a mistake. We both know that. You thought correcting the mistake would help. A right for every wrong and a good for every bad. But every time, it blew up in your face. I thought you'd have gotten the hint by now. Correcting your mistake is doing me no more good than repeating it. The only thing left now is to undo it instead. You have the power to do what most people would shudder at the thought of. Start again Start Over. [] And oh, if it's no trouble, I want you to make sure that this remains. Perhaps one day, unless we are in different corners of our lives, we can laugh together at your bizarre tale. If this made any difference, I want you to remember my name

Back

This is most likely a continuation of the monologue from the front page. My first name is mentioned as the last word (blurred out for certain reasons). The use of the comma is interesting as it ascertains that the text here was directed towards me instead of originating from me.

And it sure as hell isn't,         .
