An illusion is any perceived phenomenon that occurs as the result of intention not known to the one experiencing it. This is a source of much confusion in the physical plane because the existence of entities (and thus intentions) beyond those emerging from material composition are rarely assumed. As it is a primitive reality, intent levels tend to fluctuate wildly, causing unfair principles to take root in populations across time, resulting in many cities incapable of authoring policies that would allow the true nature of any hypothetical author to be discoverable. The end result is a cyclical historical structure created haphazardly by randomly hypothesizing about the character of such an author, rather than formally placing blame on the initial ideology.
