Asmodel is a cherubim angel attributed as the geomantic genius of amissio in Theomagia and the ruling spirit of Taurus in De Occulta Philosophia. He is most often depicted as a relaxed, winged man with blonde hair and piercing cyan eyes, wearing deep green and holding a scroll. In evocation, he may appear as a unicorn, minotaur, cherub, or floating face in an orb of light surrounded by strings of vibrating energy.[1] He's said to inspire practicality, firmness, physical comfort, and inner peace.[2] He teaches people to grow as a person,[3][4] exercise patience in choosing the right time to act, calmness in the face of annoyances, and inherent trust in the universe to continue to provide (like a farmer trusting his seeds to grow without any way to hasten them).[5] Asmodel brings mysterious experiences and sacred knowledge about the universe, bringing one closer to the spiritual world. With this comes a curiosity for those other worlds and a powerful thirst for spiritual adventure.[6][7]

He is a commander of a class of Virtues in charge of perseverance and endurance. He is powerful, with a large legion made from fragments of his higher self, and lives in Hyades, a star system which is near [[Taurus], Pleiades, and Aldebaran. He also works with fairies, elementals, and magic. Asmodel is an angel of great masculine energy but uses this energy in a feminine mode, reflecting into gentleness, strength, chivalry, valor, and honor.

Asmodel may have been known to the Romans as Virtus, a god of bravery and strength, and by extension known to the Greeks as Arete. Some[who?] claim that he has had several human incarnations, including Jack London, author of Call of the Wild.[1]

As a demon

According to some sources, he is a fallen angel and now rules over punishment and one of the 10 evil sefirot. Among these references is The Coptic Gnostic Pistis Sophia and the Kabbalah. However, it's also possible that these sources are mistaking Asmodel for Asmodeus, often given the name Asmodai or Asmoday.[7] At least one source suggests that this "fall" was an intentional lowering of his vibration in order to come closer to Earth.[1]
